Okay sorry, one day late, but the new wallpapers are now up and in my honest opinion far better than my older ones... now that I have something other than just Microsoft Picture It and Paint.
Seeing as it is one day before Valentine's I should mention there are a few new wallpapers that are lovey dovey, for those who are looking. My personal favorite is Koukou Debut, it turned out surprisingly well. At the moment it is my desktop, but to be honest I change desktops like I change my underoos, almost daily...lol. I get bored looking at the same image over and over.
Please enjoy them and let me know what you think, maybe make some requests. You never know I may make one. By the way, I made the new wallpapers BMP Images for better quality, but if they are impossibly slow loading let me know and I will make them JPEG Images.
Now which to do prepare my taxes or scan some Shitajiki...

This is just a quick update letting everyone know that a few new wallpapers will be up by the end of this weekend. Most all of them are from manga series (Kimi wa Pet, Koukou Debut, Itadakimasu, etc.) seeing as I have not been able to watch any anime series lately. It really is quite sad how far behind I am. I hope to have some Shitajiki scanned and up as well, but I am not sure it will be this weekend. Just coming by some extra time is almost impossible at the moment. Reason being lovely tax season and with us being self-employed, well you get the picture. Just hellish...

Where to start...
First off I have switched to a new Web Host Server. I did not realize how slow my old server was till my husband showed me. So needless to say we went elsewhere, so it should be a lot faster loading everything.
Secondly, I have added tons of new items to be sold (or should I say had the husband add more things), took down the ones that where sold, and plan on going through even more of my collection to see what I intend to let out of my grubby hands. I also changed the item numbers into an organized fashion. I never realized how confuggled I would be with how I had them itemized, now its mucho easier (at least on me).
Third, my husband showed me how to work the FTP for the website, so there will be more updates. Though until he shows me how to write HTML, only the updates and pictures can be changed. I do not know how to script to add more shitajiki pictures at the moment. But the good news is there will be more, tons more, so many my husband just may send me to an early grave, mwahahaha. Bad news it will be another couple of months since he is headed to France to work.
Last but not least, my future plans. I have grown to hate my guestbook, only damn spammers sign it lately. It seems people who like the site or have suggestions just email me. So it will be gone in the near future (again when the hubby is back from overseas). When I do take down the guestbook I will replace it with a Gallery page, combining the Shitajiki page and a Cel page. The Cel page will showcase some of my favorites from my cel collection and have a link to the Rubberslug Gallery I am about to start working on. Also, the update page is going to be revamped where only the latest will be shown and the rest will be archived by dates. Well, I hope that did not bore you to much, lol.
I do have one request, there are a few people hotlinking to my pictures. This at the moment does not bother me, but it will if more and more people do this and I find that my bandwidth is depleting quickly. Please just right click and save as...it is quite easy. So please do not hotlink, same goes for my using my pictures for reasons other than personal use, not without my permission. I am not an evil biatch, in fact I would say I am quite easy going and friendly, so more than likely if you ask I will grant you permission. But I do expect you to ask permission, otherwise I will seek you out and bug you to death, mwahahaha!!

Okay so... yeah that took alot longer than a week or so... Mein Gott sorry so so sorry!! But good news, it is fixed now. I can finally receive emails from sales@otakusin.com. We finally figured out it was my AOL account, it was being a bish and not the nummy kind. Now that it is fixed I can start adding more things...
Since my husband has some time off from work I am going to be a sweet wife and make him tons of nummy coffee so that he may work on my site some more... Mwahahaha!! As a result of this loving gesture I swear by the end of this next week I will have the graphic novels/manga list up and running and the prices listed on the pictures I already have up for sale. I hope to also have a few things up for auction on eBay but that I am not promising, just hoping to be able to do so. So do check back at least to see if I kept my word, lol...
The 4th of July is always fun for me since I am a freak about fireworks. I love them, I love watching them at night with my husband, my gargantuan cat, and a nice bottle of red wine.
I remember I threw a fit when we had to move from the city to this tiny town we live in now. Why you ask... because I love the city that's why, lol!! Well and the 4th was soooooooooooo cool there, from my balcony on the third floor I could see all three firework shows in the city at once (Downtown OKC, State Fairgrounds, and Frontier City Amusement Park). I could have charged people for that view.
But I was wrong to throw such a fit, for now I have a view that is killer... right in my backyard. Mmmhummm... I repeat in my backyard, I could not believe my luck. We had just come back from a trip and were sitting around thinking that the 4th was just never going to be the same and then BOOM!! Literally our house was shaking, we ran outside thinking some drunk dumbass had hit our house or something only to look up and see the biggest, brightest firework burst we had ever seen.
You see we live right by this field that we assumed had no purpose other than to hold annoying goats, lol. Little did we know that they use that very same field every year at 9:30 for the fireworks show. So though I may have traded three shows for one and now have to deal with mosquitoes, I still can say that the 4th is always a treat for me.

Hummm...well it seems my sales@otakusin.com is not working for some reason. So I am so so sorry to anyone who has tried to inquire or buy anything from me. I will have that little problem fixed soon or should I say my husband will. In the meantime, please send emails to otakusin@aol.com, though I will fix the images to include the price and another email address. Again I am really sorry!! I also have some items I am starting to put on eBay (Seller Name: unterkircher78), so if interested come take a looksie. I also am starting on a list of mangas I will be selling. I read alot of them, but sadly just cannot keep them all, not enough room.
Oh on a sidenote, the day Star Wars: Episode III hits the theaters I turn 27. I agree, I am getting old. I wanted to be 19 forever...Sigh!! And oddly enough that is all I have to say on that matter. But on the bright side, I have yet to spawn little demons...err I mean children. JOKE...kinda!!
Well, I now take my leave so I that I may begin to fix the images I mentioned and write the text file for all the manga. I will chat/rant some more when I have them up and ready to go. Which will be in a week or so...till then I bid you good day!!

Mein Gott, it has been exacty a year since my first website started and well as you can tell from the updates it did not go to well. I have been asked time and time again to start a gallery for my many collections. So last year I thought I would start off with the Wallpapers I make when I am inspired.
Just a sidenote, please understand that I do try my hardest on each and every one, but I have yet to be able to talk my husband into buying me Photoshop so if they are not up to par well, thats why. Heaven forbid it be me, lol.
So back to what I started off with. Oh yeah Wallpapers, okay so the first webbie on freewebs displayed those. Well now almost a year later my loving husband offered to redo the first. So here it is, with about 35% of my Shitajiki collection, 0% of my cel collection, 0% of my Doujinshi collection and about 40% of the anime/manga related items I have for sale. I am in the process of scanning tons more of my Shitajiki collection and some manga and more games for sale.
At first I was not going to include my cels in this website, mainly because they are my pride and joy. I was very reluctant to share them with everybody. After much persuasion from friends and family I have done a complete 180 and decided I would love to share them. But please bare with me I have to take each one of them out of their cel bags and scan them, and well lets just say I would have more fun digging my own grave.
Okay enough about my plans for the site, I know you really want to know who I am, lol. I have been into anime since the 80's when every Friday I would run home to see Adventure's of Link made by DIC (I want a cel from that series soooooooooooo bad). Anywho, some may argue that was not an anime, but regardless it's what got me into it. I almost cannot believe how easy it is nowdays to get anime, its everywhere. Gone are the days of paying forty dollars for a crappy bootleg anime episode. Not even a series just an episode, lol. I have a love/hate relationship with how easy it is to get it now. I love it because well I can get practically anything I want with the greatest of ease, but I hate it because of the same reason. I want it all but there is just so much space in my home and so little in the bank, lol. Someday, oh yes someday, till then I am extremely happy to be able to have the collection I have and a husband that accepts my obsessive addiction to anything anime/manga related. I love him dearly for that and for doing this site for me. Oh by the way, I also have a cat that is bigger than a small dog and yet he is not at all fat. Anywho, hope you enjoy the site and as I mentioned the year before I love meeting other fans. Enjoy :D
